This product is suitable for baking at all altitudes.
A steamed British pudding, that is “spotted” with raisins. A dense eggless sponge, made traditionally with suet (but healthier with butter), and milk which gives it a moist texture. It can be pudding basin or log shaped and is served hot with custard, and is of course perfect with a hot cup of tea.
