Christmas pudding, also known as plum pudding is a descendent of figgy pudding. It is a rich. dense, dried -fruit filled dessert flavored with allspice, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon. This is THE Christmas dessert in the UK. It is often served with a hard, sweet sauce but it equally good with vanilla ice cream or heavy whipping cream. This kit comes complete with your own ceramic pudding basin. See here for what's in the kit. If you want to make your pud boozy simply add the optional alcohol when making this dessert.
