This is THE Christmas dessert in the UK. It is often served with a hard, sweet sauce but it equally good with vanilla ice cream or heavy whipping cream. Make your own mince pies with our delicious mincemeat or use as a topping for ice cream. Brits eat on average 16 mince pies over the Holiday season. The mincemeat includes apple, raisins, sultanas, currants, dates, apricots and cranberries and is flavored with pumpkin spice, nutmeg and cinnamon. Oh and don't forget the brandy! This is not your shop bought mincemeat.
