Thinking of taking a break for a month or two? No problem. If you have a rolling month to month, you can pause your auto-renewing subscription from inside the customer portal. Once logged in click on subscription settings in the bottom right corner of the screen, click on pause my subscription, you will be prompted if you would like to skip one or two payments, make your selection and then click confirm.
If you have a 3 or 6 month subscription and wish to skip a box or two, then you will need to email us at email@example.com and we can do it for you. The system we use does not have the capability to skip boxes so we need to do it manually.
Absolutely! A British Bash baking kit subscription makes a great gift. We have several options to choose from, simply check the 'this is a gift' box at checkout and enter the recipient's address. This will take you to a page where you can decide when you want the subscription to start. Select after the 15th of the month, if you want to skip this month's box and start the month after. For example. If you sign up on December 1st but do not want the December box as your first box, you want your first one delivered in January, then pick a day after December 15th but before January 12th. Your payment will be taken on the day you select. You can also add a gift message here.

You also have the option here to select how many times you want to send a subscription. Select 1 if you wish just to send one subscription, whether it is for a month long subscription, 3 months, or 6 months, that way you will be only charged once and your subscription will NOT renew. But your recipient will receive the number of boxes you have paid for.
We send each subscription box out in the middle of the month - normally around the 15th. You can expect to receive it within 3-5 working days after this. However due to COVID-19 it may possibly take a few extra days for your box to arrive.
One-off boxes will be mailed on Mondays and Thursdays each week.
This will depend on the subscription you signed up for, your payment will be taken on the 1st of the month every month for rolling month to month subscriptions, every 3 months for the 3 month subscription, or every 6 months for the 6 month subscription. You can cancel your subscription at any time in your customer portal.
Payments for gift subscriptions will be taken on the day you select as a start date and not the date you join up. For example, if you join on December 1st but would like your subscription to start on January 2nd, then payment will be taken on Janauary 2nd. FYI Gift subscriptions also autorenew. You can cancel through your customer portal and you will be sent a reminder before renewal.

To get an idea of the boxes we have sent out in the past, our available to buy now boxes will indicate if they were originally a subscription box.
Absolutely once a subscription box has been sent out we will offer that months box as a one off purchase starting the following month if we have any left!! That way if you loved it so much and wish to gift the same box to someone else you will be able to do so.
Thinking of cancelling your subscription? We are sorry to see you go, but get it that life can get in the way! You can cancel your auto-renewing subscription from inside the customer portal. Once logged in click on subscription settings in the bottom right corner of the screen, click on cancel my subscription and then click confirm. This will stop anymore payments from being taken but it will NOT stop any boxes that you have already paid for.

Please note that some of our kits contain nuts, and other ingredients may have come from a factory that handles nuts.
We are trying our best to ensure that as much of our packaging is as recyclable as possible and continue to strive towards being a sustainable green company. Our disposable baking pans, shipping boxes and ingredients bags are recyclable.
Each kit contains all the dry, shelf stable ingredients you will need for your dessert, however you will need to add the fresh ones! Typically this is eggs and butter or milk, but sometimes can include fresh fruit. We strive to include as much as we can in each box and even include disposable baking pans for your convenience.
All our recipes are tested at 5000 feet so if you require a box that is altitude tested please click on the High Altitude check box. Above 5000 feet you may need to make your own adjustments as we cannot guarantee your bake will be perfect at a higher altitude.
Our kits DO NOT require refrigeration so you do not need to be home to accept a delivery.
Yes, you can purchase an individual kit. Look under the Baking Kits tab and you will see what we currently have on offer as a one off kit. We add to these each month with the previous months subscription kit. For example the kit that subscribers receive in September will become available as a one off purchase starting in October.
We deliver throughout the Continental USA.
We use a platform called Subbly as the basis of our website and this is their way of setting a limit on the number of times a subscription will automatically renew. If you purchase a gift subscription and know you do not want that gift subscription to renew, then select the number of months that your subscription is for. So if you purchased a 3 month subscription, we will send 3 boxes (one a month over 3 months), so choose 3 if you do not want the subscription to renew. If you select 6, we will send 6 boxes in total and charge you after 3 months for the next three months' boxes. If you selected "until i cancel", then we would send the boxes indefinitely and you would be charged every 3 months, until you cancel. Please drop us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org), if this is too confusing.
The platform we use does not have an option to say "do not renew" - they are working on it! In the meantime, if you do not want your subscription to renew, simply cancel it. That will not affect any boxes you have already paid for, they will still be sent. What will happen is that no further payments will be taken from your bank account.
The other option is to select the subscription as a gift on checkout and then there is an option "how many shipments do you want to receive?", select the number equal to the length of subscription you have chosen. For example, if you choose a 6 month subscription, select the number 6.

You will have been sent emails prior to the subscription auto-renewing, however, if you missed the emails or forgot to cancel your subscription prior to the renewal, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We don't want you to pay for something you don't want, so we will happily issue you a refund for any boxes not already sent.
To change an address, send an email to email@example.com and tell us the name of the recipient and the new address you wish the box to go to.
